I heard this song again this morning. It was played on radio One and had me singing all over again. I am glad no-one drives with me as I really can't hit the high notes! That doesn't stop me trying though!

I heard this song a while back and I have  never tired of it.
Since hearing this song I have listened to other songs by 21 pilots and have to admit I really like them but this one is my favourite.

I was in the pub having a meal with friends when a group of teachers got up and sang this song to a colleague of theirs that was retiring.
The atmosphere in the pub that night was wonderful!
When Ollie died, I put together a short collection of photo's of him with this song as a fitting accompaniment.
I am watching last nights 'The Voice' and two contestants sang this song.
I love it.
When I die they can play this song at my funeral, that would be great!

I love this band and I particularly love this song.

I really like songs that appear to tell a story and this song is a good example.
I like the lyrics and I also enjoy the video.
I am at a point where I have finished one piece of writing and am looking for inspiration for my next piece.
This means I am in awe of any musicians or writers who have managed to create something exciting from nowhere!

The Farmers Boys~ More Than a Dream

I grew up in Norfolk and one of the local bands were The Farmers Boys. They were actually pretty successful. I really liked them. I used to love going to local gigs.
The local university the UEA had many brilliant gigs.
I saw all kinds of bands there, local or national.
More Than A Dream was a particularly lovely song in my opinion....

The Monochrome Set, He's Frank

Years ago I bought a bundle of bargain singles. There was about 10 of them taped together so it was pot luck what you bought. They cost about £1 in total and among the 10 was a fabulous song by The Monochrome Set.
I was hooked.
What a wonderful band and I would never have heard of them if it hadn't been for that record bundle!

This is another song I really love. In fact I love the sound of this band. they are pretty distinctive. This song reminds me of summer for some reason and that is no bad thing on a chilly February evening!
I gave in to the urge to buy some more bulbs for my garden. I am starting to see signs of spring and this makes me happy. Listening to this band can lead me to believe summer is just around the corner!

I love songs written by Pete Doherty. I really like this one. Each song he writes tell a story and that is what makes his songs so believable.
Some of the songs I like the best aren't necessarily happy. I think if a song can truly convey an emotion to other people. to mean something to them, they have succeeded.

Billy Idol~ White Wedding

I must admit to loving this song! I bought it as a 12" when it came out and I remember I was in town with my friends and must have left it on the bench right in the middle of the town.  I rushed back as soon as I realised what had happened and to my delight it was still there. Lucky for me the people clearly weren't Billy Idol fans, either that or they were very honest!

White Sky~Vampire Weekend

I completely love Vampire Weekend and this song, in particular. Their songs make me think of sun  and when I hear them I want to dance!
I have just watched 'The Voice' and saw some people arrive a step closer towards their dreams while others may have felt rejected as nobody turned their chair for them and offered them a place on the music show.
I realise that if you wish to follow your dream, you cannot give up when you hit the hurdles.
If you want it enough you will find a way to keep going.
I find musicians inspiring. They offer us so much of themselves and their work connects with us like nothing else can.

The words are powerful.

I love this song! Lou reed was such a good singer. This song stands out for me.
I think I was quite a moody teenager and spent many hours lying on my bed playing the same records again and again!
