Sia~Puppies Are Forever~ (Please support this good cause!)

I was listening to Sia on the way home today and decided to create this post inspired by her song!

Puppies really are forever and not just for Christmas. Sadly for a variety of reasons some dogs are rejected and end up needing a new home.
Wanderers Haven are an animal sanctuary who rescue animals and then look for loving new homes for them.
We have ended up with three wonderful rescue dogs from there.

My dog Ollie was so full of fun. He was so full of life and he loved going out with the sanctuary dogs when we took them out for walkies. When he got run over I wanted to do something positive to cheer myself up and so I wrote the book: Oh Ollie!

I have heard it on the radio a lot lately and I really like it. The video is quite dark but matches the song well.
There are some powerful lyrics:

It has an interesting story-line which is always a great thing in a song.
It reminds us of the importance of thinking for ourselves as we try to make sense of our lives.There are people out there who target people that they consider vulnerable. One of the most important aspect of life is knowing who we can trust to have our best interests at heart.

Dog Of Man~Opiate

We were very impressed and so I was particularly looking forward to seeing this band and .....I certainly wasn't disappointed.
They were fantastic.
There were 3 of them in the band last night and they clearly know each other so well and play so well together.

The Orange Skies were on first and this was my favourite song that they did. They were full of energy and very entertaining. If they play near you, go and see them....You won't regret it!

The Killers Live...and Tony! :)

Music makes me so happy. I think it was yesterday on Greg James when I heard about this guy called Tony who made a sign which simply stated, 'Can I drum?'
Now usually I imagine most bands would steer clear of letting a fan drum in case he or she turned out to be hopeless!!
The Killers took a chance on Tony and he turned out to be brilliant!
I love this clip. I love the smile on Tony's face as he lives his dream and the cheers from the crowd when they realise how good he is.

I am going to see Henry Green play on Thursday in London. My son plays in the band and co produced some of the music so I am really looking forward to seeing him too.

My kids have both found their own way in life and are following their dreams which is what I have always encouraged them to do.
I couldn't be prouder.
When people have the courage to 'go their own way' and live their own life their way they find like minded people so they can each inspire the other to do the things they really want to do.

What a lovely day. It is sunny and the start of the weekend! If that wasn't wonderful enough Henry Green has created this lovely song and it has inspired beautiful Jenna to put together this graceful dance. The video is set in a glorious cove...Summer is well and truly on its way.
I am particularly happy that this song is so popular as my son co produced it and is going on tour with Henry any time now.
I am looking forward to seeing them live early next month.

Rudimental~ These Days

I was driving home from visiting my lovely daughter when this song came on the radio. It made me so happy. Some music is just so uplifting. The sun was starting to shine and as I drove through the South of England I could see signs everywhere that Spring is just around the corner!
Today is the last day of the holiday. I am back at work tomorrow which is no hardship as I love my job.
As I type this sitting all cosy in my caravan I realise what a gift life is!

I was driving home when Greg James played this song on Radio One. I really like it. Apparently the band formed as part of a Uni project and afterwards everyone realised they are good enough to really become a band which is what they did.
