Enter Shikari~ The Sights

I was driving home along a frosty road and I heard this wonderful song. I love this band! Hearing this has put me in the most excellent mood. That and my Gran phoning me unexpectedly from USA just to remind me how much she loves me. What a wonderful evening with the next episode of The A Word to look forward to too!

It is funny how my mind suddenly recalls songs I haven't heard for years. When that happens I have to track the sing down and play it.

The December Quartets

I went to The Harrison on Saturday night to see The December Quartets. It is a tiny venue with a capacity of about 45. It was an incredible evening full of beautiful improvisation. Spyros Giasafakis is one of the members of the quartet. They improvise using vocals and very unusual instruments. It was a night to remember.

I was driving home this evening when I thought I was listening to a really weird version of this song as I could hear a posh woman making comments in the background.
